Hiking Tours
Discover with us the silence in the mountains, outlying paths and breathtaking views. During our guided hikes through the impressive mountains of Andalusia you are so close to nature! You can find routes for every level here. Whilst we offer light and medium half-day tours for beginners and advanced ones, demanding full-day tours are available for the experts. Below you will find a selection of tours, which we offer alternately in our weekly program. All of those tours are taking place with a number of participants from 4 to 7 people. Of course, you can gladly let us create an individual offer, so that we can start a tour on your desired date with a smaller number of people.
For all hiking tours the following services are included!
Explore the 1215-meter-high Pico de La Concha, Marbella's local mountain. The route will first take you and your group through a plain of olive trees. It continues through shady forests up to the main ridge of the Sierra Blanca, from where suddenly opens a wonderful panorama of Marbella and the Mediterranean Sea. Our guides will lead you safely over some obstacles to the summit. Once there, we take a break at one of the most beautiful views of the entire southern Costa del Sol. With mostly good visibility, our gaze reaches as far as Gibraltar and Morocco.
Explore with us the unique hiking route to the top of the Gibraltar rock. You walk on natural steps along the rugged and lush cliffs. You will always be accompanied by a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean and the opposite coast of Africa. With good visibility, you can not only let your gaze wander along the Costa del Sol, you can also see the peaks of the Sierra Nevada. But equally interesting are the military remnants of the last centuries, in which Gibraltar had a strategically important meaning. Not to mention, of course, the famous Barbary Monkeys, unique in Europe.
Explore with us the ruins of the Moorish castle Montemayor. We start our tour in Benahavis, a small mountain village near Marbella. The path begins in the valley of the Guadalmina River and leads us through typical Mediterranean forests up to the summit. Once there, it quickly becomes clear why this place was ideal for building a castle. The perfect all-round view and the comparatively easy ascent, offers you even today the optimal beginner or half day tour for your hiking experience.
This picturesque "Pueblo Blanco" Casares offers you wonderful views due to its location on the hillside. It'is one of the most beautiful white villages of Andalusia. Explore Casares on a walk through its narrow streets and learn about the history of the place while walking in the footsteps of Julius Caesar.
Explore with us the very well preserved Moorish castle Castillo de Castellar de la Frontera. On this relaxed circular walk our way leads along narrow paths surrounded by cork oaks up to the castle walls. Built in the 7th century, the Castillo was rediscovered by artists and hippies from across Europe in the 1960s and still houses many creative people today. Here we once again enjoy the view over a reservoir and the bay of Algeciras. Then it goes back down to our starting point on an old Roman road. This tour is perfect for hikers and rest seekers!
