The mountain bike tour "Sunset Benahavis" is the perfect end to the day in the hot summer months. We start in San Pedro de Alcantara and drive on low-traffic roads and forest roads to the quiet mountain village of Benahavis. Above the Guadalmina River, it goes through the village, along the reservoir and through deep valleys in the Andalusian backcounty. On this tour, you have the opportunity to cool down in the river and get an insight into the diversity of nature.
We start our tour to the mountains of the Sierra Bermeja near Estepona at an altitude of about 100 meters. On wide and well-traveled paths, it goes past ruins of former forestry and agricultural buildings and some fountains. This conditionally demanding tour rewards with beautiful views towards the coast and the Los Reales. After a little more than half of the route we reach the highest point at about 920 meters, from where we almost without further climb rolling down to the beach.
This mountain bike tour takes us from the charming village of Monda over hilly farmland, through meadows and fields to the small village of Guero. From there we have a magnificent view of the Sierra de las Nieves. The underground changes from paved roads to dirt roads to easy single trail descents. Along the edge of the road there is a varied picture of local agriculture, from almond trees to vines and orange trees.
Discover with us interesting rock formations and former war showplaces along the Strait of Gibraltar. We drive to the southernmost city of Europe's mainland, Tarifa. After the start next to the city wall of Tarifa we are riding on dirt roads and single trails along the coast. Afterwards, we climb a few vertical meters to get an even better view of the African mainland in good weather conditions. Most of the time Morocco and the passing ships seem close enough to touch. The aim of this tour is a former lighthouse whose scenery invites us to linger.
The bridge of Ronda is probably one of Andalucia's most famous photo motifs. But Ronda and the surrounding area have much more to offer! On this approximately 4 hour tour, the path leads us through very varied terrain and offers us both mountain scenery and breaks at small oases provide the necessary refreshment. Oh yes, and a stop to catch a photo of the famous bridge may not be missing! The bridge of Ronda is probably one of the most famous photo motifs of Andalusia. But Ronda and its surroundings have much more to offer! On this approximately 4 hour tour, the path leads us through very varied terrain. We have both, mountain scenery and small oases, which provide the necessary refreshment. A stop to catch a photo of the famous bridge may not be missing!
For all those who enjoy the descent, we have the perfect experience here. We get a shuttle to the plateau of Ronda. From there we follow streams and drive through wide pastures. In the foothills of the surreal mountain slopes, we work piece by piece to the maximum height of 1300 meters. Finally we will be rewarded with a 25 km long descent that will take your breath away! This tour is scenically and technically the absolute highlight!
Explore with us the mountains between Ojen and Elviria. We start on the Monte Elviria and move on the ridge towards Ojen. Your view sweeps from the wonderful view of the Costa del Sol on the one side to the mountain panorama of the Sierra Alpujata on the other. After another drive through the scrubland of the mountain slopes, the view towards Fuengirola opens up. The trails of this trip are technically less demanding and therefore also wonderful for mountain bike beginners to deal with.
This bike tour takes us through a part of the Palmitera Mountains. Due to countless water sources for which this area is known, the vegetation here is particularly abundant. So our way is always crossed by torrents that you have to overcome. But don't worry, with our bikes that will be easy for you and you will have a lot of fun. The destination of our tour are the ruins of the Torre de Daidin, where we take a break with a beautiful view before we start to turn back.
